General Introduction:

PE and Games lessons at Ealing Fields take place in the afternoons as Core Electives (a double period) and Extended Electives (after-school sessions). This allows enough time for students to fully engage with competitive matches. Specific skills are taught and students learn how to adapt these skills into game situations.

Core Electives:

Students take part in a variety of core sports such as Football, Netball, Rugby, Hockey, Tennis, Cricket, Rounders and Athletics.

Extended Electives:

After school students are offered a wide range of activities as well as the main stream team sport practices. We pride ourselves on high attendance during our extracurricular program and open our club up to all abilities.

Football (Boy’s and Girl’s), Cross Country, Netball, Cricket, Rugby, Basketball, Indoor and Outdoor Athletics, Rounders and more to come!

Sports Science:

This is a very popular course. Students who are thinking of choosing PE as an option in Year 10 get a head start on the content in year 9. The course involves theoretical knowledge, sports leadership and practical assessment.

This will be open to year 10 students who achieve a 5+ or above in sports science. The course will be assessed with 30% Practical Performance, 10% Analysis and Evaluation of Performance and 60% Exam.
