During this course of this half-term we have been having a series of Client Engagement Meetings with the building contractors, architects and other experts involved in the design and planning of the new school at Place House.
Most of these meetings have been held elsewhere because we simply don’t have sufficient room to fit all the team in comfortably at the moment but one was held at Ealing Fields so we took the opportunity to introduce the team to some of our pupils, namely the Year 7 and 8 class reps. The photograph shows the contractor explaining to the students how they move from flat space floor plans to scale cardboard models which help the team see the building in the context of the surrounding area.
