The demolition phase on the Place House site is drawing to a close with Phases 1-6 complete and Phase 7 and 8 almost finalised (see diagram on previous post). The materials from the demolished buildings are being sorted and timber and metal products are then removed from site by skip. All masonry and concrete will be crushed on site with the crushing unit expected on site week commencing 13th May.

Assuming unforeseen ground conditions aren’t encountered, the contractor expects all demolition works to be complete and the site cleared by 14th June. This will mark the end of the first phase of creating a new school building for Ealing Fields on the site.
