We welcomed a special visitor to Ealing Fields High School earlier this month. The Right Rev’d Peter Broadbent, Bishop of Willesden led a service of blessing the foundations of the new school buildings.

Members of the school council, local governing body and staff joined representatives of the Department for Education, contractor Bowmer + Kirkland and Ealing Fields Residents’ Association.

Students symbolically cast items including a scroll of foundation verses, school houses and the names of the founding year group into the base of the final part of the concrete pad on which the main teaching block will stand.

We are delighted that the demolition phase is now finished and as work to erect the steel framework for the new buildings has commenced this week, we are pleased to report the project is on schedule for a summer 2020 handover.
