We returned to school to exciting news that the superstructure works on the new building were complete and that precast flooring units were being installed. September saw the installation of an attenuation tank below the playground area, pouring of the ground floor concrete slabs and work to the roof and rendering on Place House. Internal refurbishment is also ongoing and we anticipate the scaffolding will be removed soon.
We were able to celebrate the highest point of the structure being reached with a Topping Out ceremony on Tuesday 8th October led by the vicar of Brentford. This service was attended by local councillors and planning officers, residents’ association representatives, governors, staff and students.
