We are delighted that Ealing Fields celebrated its first exam-based GCSE results today and we are thrilled with the outcomes that the students have achieved.
There were a huge number of grades 7-9 (the old A & A* grades) with 51% of all grades awarded at grade 7 or above.
Students achieved exceptionally well across the full range of abilities and 83% of all grades were at grade 5 and above and 92% at grade 4 or above.
It was a joy to see the students so delighted as they opened their results envelopes and here are some photos which capture some of the celebratory feel of the morning. The students have proceeded to enrol with their chosen post-16 institution today and we will remain in contact with all of them into September to ensure they are well set-up in their next place of education. The excellent results also mean many of our students have been accepted onto post-16 courses within the Trust and so have been able to enrol at Twyford and William Perkin.
I am so proud of the students for achieving such impressive results, in many cases significantly exceeding their own expectations. Many congratulations to them and a heartfelt thank you to the teachers who have worked so hard to support them to achieve the superb results that they have received today.
